Researchers at Flinders are leading a study to
improve the quality of nutrition in the population of adults receiving home care packages. The study is being led by Research Associate and Dietician Morgan Pankhurst and her team.
The team wishes to build a Consumer Advisory Group to guide the development of their project. Community members will be asked to convene three times, at the beginning of the project, midway through the project and then at the conclusion. They will have the opportunity to contribute their thoughts and ideas about the research project. Their input will help to inform the future development of interventions, education materials and recommendations for policy makers to support individuals remaining in their own home.
Experience required - consumers: Older adults who receive home care package supports, carers of older adults who receive home care package supports, home care service providers and case managers
Deadline to apply: Monday, 21 NOVEMBER 2022, 12PM
Engagement includes attending 3 meetings at Flinders University (Either Sturt or City Campuses, or possibility of joining online) commencing in December 2022. Meetings are expected to last 60-90 minutes each.
Reimbursement: Reimbursement for this engagement includes time for meeting preparation/reading materials, meeting attendance and transportation. Reimbursement will follow the SA Health policy for reimbursing consumers and community members policy.
